He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Jacob, and Rose Jacob, Sr. (Miller); his children, Diane, Gary, Terry and Francis; his son-in-law David Dusek; his siblings, Valentine, AnnaMary Werner (Andrew), Julia Kiefer (Joe), Maggie Weisbeck (Tony) and Theresa Jacob; and his sister-in-law Esther Jacob.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Ell; his children, Ken Jacob (Cindy), Mary Dusek of Moorhead, MN, Rita Mosset (Jerome), Louise Peterson (Doug) of Blaine, MN, Edward Jacob (Lisa) of Dilworth, MN and Gerard Jacob (Lori); his siblings, Thomas Jacob of Bismarck, ND, Michael Jacob (Sally), Linton and Rose Weisbeck (Francis) of Herreid, SD; and his sister-in-law Angeline Jacob. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
