She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Griffith and Angeline Griffith; her husband Vernon Vellenga; and her sister Charlene. She is survived by: her children, Ron Vellenga (Deone) of Fairmount, ND, James Vellenga (Margaret) and Charlene Strand (Barry) of Paynesville, MN; her brother Robert Griffith of Maple Grove, MN; her grandchildren, Karen Berntson (Andy), Karlene Nelson (Gage), Andy Rude (April), Sarah Skluzacek (Brandon), Paige Cossette (Brandon), Marlee Vellenga, Brody Strand (Tatum) and Sophie Strand; and her great grandchildren, Easton and Rylan Berntson.
