It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gladys B. Preszler of Lidgerwood, North Dakota, born in Roscoe, South Dakota, who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vetch and Elizabeth Vetch (Biernbaum); her daughter Raylene; and her siblings, Eva Vetch, Viola Hettich, Anna Mae Kraft, Iola Bradke, Bernice Buechler, Lawrence Vetch, Johnnie J. Vetch, Paul Vetch and LeRoy Vetch.

She is survived by: her husband Raymond D. Preszler; her daughter Karen Freeman (Phillip) of Geneseo, ND; her sister Walburga Zambo of Gettysburg, SD; and her godchildren, Michael Kraft of Britton, SD, Kathleen Beck of Rapid City, SD, Charlotte Endorf of Megnet, NE and Karen Jung (Bohling) of Aberdeen, SD. She is also survived by many in-laws; many nieces and nephews.

“Aunt Gladys was amazing at keeping in touch the old fashioned way, by physically writing cards and letters. She was my Godmother and with my mom created the most beautiful wedding cake in 1986. Her love of ceramics was apparent. We have the gorgeous wedding plate she made 35 years ago in our dining room. The nativity set she made will always be treasured. In the 80s, Cabbage Patch dolls were the craze. I received a red headed one from her. It's in our toybox loved by our grandchildren.”
