He was predeceased by: his parents, George Novotny and Anna Novotny (Prashek); his wife Georgine; his son Larry Novotny; his brother Benjamin; his sister-in-law Virginia Novotny; his sisters, Gertrude and Rose; his brother-in-law Dale Ketelboeter; his sister Helen; and his siblings-in-law, Gust Palzer, Margaret Vlasaty and Dorothy Vlasaty.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Leeman (Paul) of West Fargo, ND, Bonnie Novotny of Lidgerwood, Roger Novotny of Lidgerwood and Doug Novotny of Lidgerwood; and his sister Marion Callen (Roland) of Glenwood, MN. He is also survived by 2 granddaughters and 4 great grandchildren.
