She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Martin and Margaret Martin (Fallon); her husbands, Harvey Kutter of Philip's Catholic Church and Tony Lenzen; her children, Mike Kutter, Joe Kutter and Mary Schildberger; her brother Kenneth; and her son-in-law Michael Jentz.
She is survived by: her grandson Gregg Schildberger of Fargo; her daughter JoAnne Jentz of Mantador; her grandchildren, Rob Jentz (Stephen Grindrod) of Arlington, Tracy Jentz of Grand Forks and Krissandra Pohl (Anthony) of Grand Forks; her great grandchildren, Addison and Rory Pohl of Grand Forks; her brothers, James Martin (Carol) of Orange and Roger Reinke (Joan) of Horace; and her stepdaughters, Sandy Mietz (Mike), Susie McConaughay (Charlie), Donna Soncrant (Jim), Denise Goehring (Tom) and Julie Scholler (Greg). She is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great step-grandchildren.
Genn was also prominently featured in North Dakota's MaskUp statewide campaign during the pandemic. She was very proud to have taken all of the necessary precautions and to never have contracted COVID.
