It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine Virginia Yri of Leeds, North Dakota, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie McGarvey and Edna McGarvey (Torgerson); her brothers, Carroll and Jim McGarvey; her son-in-law Larry Darling; and her great grandchild R. J. Darling.
She is survived by: her husband Theodore Yri (Ted); her daughters, Elaine Darling Howard (George) of Bismarck and Marlys Darling (Ray) of Leeds; her grandchildren, Wanda (Raphael) of Leeds, Lisa (Barry) of Hazen, ND, Rick (Jana) of Leeds and Greg Darling of Wessington, SD; and her brother Gary McGarvey (Carolyn) of Leeds. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
CDC recommendations including social distancing, hand sanitizing and staying away if not feeling well are encouraged.
