He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Holmes and Norma Holmes (Schiele); his father-in-law Ted Odden; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Renee Odden; his friends, Bucky, Kevin, Cindy and Tex; his children, Melanie Holzbauer (Jay) of New Richmond, WI and Shawn Holmes (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Philip James Kraft, Ariel, Javen Holzbauer, Brody and Ryder Holmes; his mother-in-law Mary Lou Peterson (Smith); his siblings, Steven Holmes (Shelly) and Nancy Holmes; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Moen (Darwin) and Kathy Holmes (David). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
