She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Helgeseth and Alma Helgeseth (Blegen); her husband Roland Nelson; her brother Arden Helgeseth (Sylvia); and her brothers-in-law, Glenn Biby and Elmer Boesl.
She is survived by: her daughters, Louise Nelson and Connie Nelson of Churchs Ferry, ND; her sister Jean Boesl of Edmore, ND; her brother-in-law Robert Nelson (Evie) of Harvey, ND; and her close friend Deanna Dagen of LaMoure, ND. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
