He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hanson and Myrtle Hanson (Ulstad); and his parents-in-law, Eva Roth and Dr. Guenther Venzke. He is survived by: his son-in-law Derrick; his wife Verena Venzke; his children, Stephen Hanson (Jenny) of Aurora, CO and Jessica Beck (Derrick) of Lawton, ND; his grandchildren, Sophia, Isabella, Katrina Beck, Preston Hanson and Marissa Wagoner (Ryan); and his siblings, William Hanson of Cavalier, ND and Margaret Persson (Nels) of Laguna Niguel, CA. He is also survived by 4 great granddaughters, 2 nieces; 3 nephews; and many cousins.
