She was predeceased by: her mother Martha Harris Burkhart; her stepfather Walton "Bob" Burkhart; and her sister Juanita Henderson. She is survived by: her husband Everett L Beasley Jr.; and her children, Jeff Smith (Barbara Jo), David Smith (Sherry), Janet Hardwick (Paul) and Susan Poole (Greg). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
