He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his son Erik (Keely); his grandchildren, Jameson, Took and Remi of Northwood, ND; his children, Howard Stephen Burke Jr. and Shelley Burke; and his siblings, Bryant Burke of Tyndall, SD, Mavis Rojas, Betty Lindquist (Eldon) of Pierre, SD, Kathy Wells of Pierre, SD and Colleen Schumacher (Peter). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
