He is survived by: his friend Gary Verville; his nephew Travis VanHoudt; his wife Kay; his son Ricky Symons (Savannah) of Larimore, ND; his sister Alice Beeman of Barton, MD; and his siblings-in-law, Dan VanHoudt (Donna), Ron VanHoudt (Terri), Doug VanHoudt, Greg VanHoudt (Kim), Henry VanHoudt (Julie), Sue Roemhildt, Ann VanHoudt and Nancy VanHoudt.
