We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2020, at the age of 99, Gladys Mathilda McDonald of Larimore, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Swanson and Hattie Swanson (Berggren); her siblings, Carl, Floyd, Dorothy Marien, Fern Sweeney, Thelma Rortvedt and Freda Gratton; her son Terry; her granddaughter Kandy Kennedy; and her son-in-law Jim Murphy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Myrna Thorsell (Dick) of Larimore, Karen Tangen (James) of Northwood and Robin Murphy of Grand Forks; and her grandchildren, Kim Tandberg (Scott) of Fergus Falls, Todd Thorsell (Stacey) of Grand Forks, Karri Segal (Vince) of Fargo, Teri Solseng (Tedd) of Larimore, Karissa Cole (Nate) of Larimore, Sherry Alberts (Lowell) of Mooreton, Tedd Halvorson (Fran) of Grand Forks, Terry Murphy of Minneapolis, Jeremy Murphy (Tamara) of Murrieta, CA and Nick Murphy of Grand Forks. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
