He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Agnes Bornsen; and his wife Eva Bornsen (Braaten). He is survived by: his children, Fred, Jr. (Heather) of Enderlin, ND and Janice Olson of Larimore; and his grandchildren, Kristi Christensen (Pat) of Battle Lake, MN, Donald Bornsen (ReNae Motl) of Fargo, Lynn Boom (Len) of Marion, ND, Ashley Mann (Curt) of Durbin, ND, Dawn Murphy (Cary) of Clay Center, KS, Tim Olson of Larimore, Matt Olson (Jana) of Valley City and Luke Olson of Williston. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
