He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Soukup and Margaret Soukup (Pich); his children, Deborah and John; and his sister Marjorie Hodny.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Votava; his son Jeff of Fargo, ND; and his grandchildren, Darin Soukup (Tiffany), Christy Mallon (Jason), Jennifer Ranzenberger (Aaron) and Terry John Conlon. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
