She was predeceased by: her parents, George Votava and Anna Votava (Suda); her son David John; her husband John Soukup of Luke's Catholic Church; her daughter Deborah; and her siblings, Aurelia Emery, Emil Votava, Clement Votava, Bertha Hodny (Fred), George, Ludvig, Lillian and Mary Ann.
She is survived by: her son Jeff of Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Darin Soukup (Tiffany), Christy Mallon (Jason), Jennifer Ranzenberger (Aaron) and Terry John Conlon; and her sister Verna Beneda (Dennis) of Lankin, ND. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
