She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank H. Shirek and Mary Shirek (Kalal); her husband Donald Bogert; and her siblings, Joseph, Rudolph, Agnes Dvorak, Grace Trenda and Marie Zika.

She is survived by: her daughter Melva Brend (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Kathryn Wright (Douglas), Donald and David Brend (Teresa); her great grandchildren, Leann Humble (Aaron), Allison Wright, Christian Brend, Abigail, Emilie, Jacob, Jayden, Adrian and Jackson Brend; and her great great grandchild Irelynn Humble.
