It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Witzel of Langdon, North Dakota, who passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Witzel and Elizabeth Witzel (Hope); his son Tyler; his wife Carole Spratt; and his siblings, Fern Waltz (James), Verda Coyle (Delmar), Leo Witzel (Betty) and Hannah.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Hoffarth (Steve) of Waubun, MN and Melissa Johnson (Chris) of Grand Forks, ND; his daughter-in-law Gwen Witzel of Langdon, ND; his grandchildren, Amanda Kaufman (Rodney), Nicole Frize (Chase), Noah Johnson, Davis Johnson and Carolyn Johnson; his great grandchildren, Emma Kaufman, Landon and Connor Frize; and his pets, Teddy, Lizzie and Willie.
