With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Schaan of Langdon, North Dakota, born in Rugby, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Schaan and Elizabeth Schaan (Merck); and his siblings, Romaine, Collette and Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra of Langdon; his children, Collette Schwabe (Jason) of Thompson, ND, Angie Nicolai (Dirk) of New Prague, MN, Ryan Schaan of Grand Canyon, AZ and Ricky Schaan (Bridget) of Thornton, CO; his siblings, Roland, Reynold (Debbie), Charlotte Brandt (David), Randall, Robert, Vincent and Kenneth (Mana Rae); and his pet Fritzy.
