He was predeceased by: his parents, George Spenst and Mary Spenst of Dresden; his wife Lois Rouse; and his sister Magdalene Toavs. He is survived by: his daughters, Lou Loewen (Wesley) of Overland Park, KS and Phyllis Schroeder (Nathaniel) of Locust Grove, VA.; his grandchildren, Reginald Loewen of Dexter, MI, Ethan Loewen of Overland Park, KS, Natalia Schroeder of Warrenton, VA and Erika Greenwood (Schroeder) of Warrenton, VA; his great grandchildren, Isabelle of Dexter, MI, Daniel Loewen of Dexter, MI and Gabriela Eve Canaj of Warrenton, VA.; and his brothers, Erwin Spenst of Sun City, AZ and Art Spenst of Plainview, MN..
Because Ralph and Lois enjoyed participating in missions through 'In Faith' and SEND, the family would prefer memorials in lieu of flowers so that they can send memorial funds to those two organizations.
