He is survived by: his wife Dora; his children, Kerwin Borgen (Flora) of Detroit Lakes, MN, Dennis Borgen (Maryl) of Langdon, Judy Jordan (Arnold) of Langdon and Richard Borgen (Dawn); his grandchildren, Keri Rogne, Lindsey Lunnin, Noel Borgen, Joshua Jordan, Angela Hager, Jesse Jordan, Candace Schiermeister, Craig Borgen, Jacy Bata and Wayne Borgen; and his siblings, Olga Feil, Betty Mikkelsen, Carol Godfrey, Eileen Cassella and Orville Borgen.
