He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hansel and Anna'Mae Hansel; his siblings, James, Roger, Daniel Hansel and Shirley Lenz; and his sister-in-law Drina Hansel.
He is survived by: his sons, Jacob Hansel (Maria) of La Farge, WI and Joseph Hansel (Danielle) of Langdon, ND; his grandchildren, David Rathkie, Dakota, Anna'Mae, Cassandra, Kamden, Layken and Taten; his former wife Linda Hansel; his siblings, Dennis Hansel, Wayne Hansel (Debbie), Mary Lou Lorenz (Tom), Robert Hansel (Stephanie), Patsy Vaagen (Garold) and Jerry Hansel (Denise); and his siblings-in-law, Ron Lenz, Karen Hansel and Pauline Hansel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
