She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Waltz and Mary Waltz (Stremick) of Langdon, ND.; her husband Leonard Ekberg of Osnabrock, ND; her brothers, James, Edwin, Victor and Raymond; and her granddaughter Janelle Ekberg.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Carol Murie, Darrell Ekberg (Julie) of Manvel, ND, Colleen Hagen (Bruce) of New Rockford, ND and Dean Ekberg of Langdon, ND; her sister Lisa Geisen (Ken) of Seattle, WA; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Hiltner (Glen) of Cordes Lakes, AZ, Evelyn Chaput (Delanor) of Cooperstown, ND and Lea Waltz of Langdon, ND; her grandchild Riley Hagen (Renee Bella); her great grandchild Henry; her grandchildren, John Murie and Jennifer Ekberg (Trevis); her great grandchildren, Corbin and Theodore; her grandchildren, Liz Hagen and Anna Hamzehpour (AJ); her stepgranddaughter Paulette Schill; and her pet Frisky. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
