He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmont Waters and Lucille Waters (Aitchison); his wife Elaine Hanson; his sons, Lyle Waters Jr. and Lance Waters; and his great grandchild Owen Bierman.
He is survived by: his children, Lyndon Waters (Carol) of Watertown, SD, Lonnie Waters (Melodee), Lori Schweitzer (Darrold), Lisa Feil (Dave Hoffarth), Lee Waters and Lana Waters (Michael Hayes); his siblings, George Waters (Carol) of Montevideo, MN, Beverly Hunstad of Jasper, MN and Virginia Dally; and his daughter-in-law Joanie Waters of Walhalla, ND. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren.
