Kristine Koehmstedt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kristine Koehmstedt of Langdon, North Dakota, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Haraldur Peterson (Halli) and Kristine Peterson (Jonnson); her husband Joe; her son Larry; her son-in-law Jerry Restad; and her brothers, Kristjan and Einar.
She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Koehmstedt; her daughters, Cindy Restad, Becky Overby (Jeff) and Jane Hart (Dave); her grandchildren, Ryan Restad (Nicole), Chris Restad (Jenni), Aaron Restad (Kari), Katie Hoffarth (Cory), Josh Overby (Sarah), Justin Overby (Megan), Shannon Bjornstad (Travis), Austin Koehmstedt, Taylor Restad (Blaine), McKenzie Ratelle (Will) and Madison Hart (Brady); her brother Bernard Peterson; and her sisters-in-law, Cyrilla Kartes, Kay Duffy and Judi Koehmstedt.
In 2007, they moved to Langdon, and she continued working for the postal service as a custodian at the Langdon office until COVID hit.
