She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thorson and Olga Thorson of Hampden, ND.; her husband Selmer Christianson; her daughter Janene; and her siblings, Robert, Harriet and Margaret.

She is survived by: her friend Marlene Klein; her children, Kathy Simrell (Jim) of Eldorado Springs, MO, Rick Christianson (Char) of Carrington, ND, Dave Christianson (Michele) of Langdon and Deanna Scheidt (Jack) of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren, DaNae (Kenny), Brandon (Catie), Janna (Cody), Samantha (Justin), Chad, Jennifer (Brian), Bryan, Katie, Karie (Garrett), Amber, Aaron (Deidra), Jason (Celina) and Brittany (Aneish); her great grandchildren, Kolten, Parker, Tevor, Emma, James Ole, Elliana, Maelyn, Canaan, Hunter, Quinn, Kate, Luke, Brayden, Emily, Nora, Roman and Gavin; her goddaughter Michelle Klein; and her nieces, LaVonne (Tom) and Linda (Wayne). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins along with many dear friends.
