He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Christianson and Ina Christianson (Rossenberg); his parents-in-law, Gertrude and Howard Ritter; his brother-in-law John Ritter; and his brothers, Daniel, Izetta Ritter and Dale Ritter.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ritter of Sarles, ND; his children, Von Christianson (Vernetta) of Langdon, ND and Lana Balsdon (Paul) of Osnabrock, ND; his grandchildren, Kody Christianson (Jennalee), Kale Christianson (Tasha), Kamry Christianson, Jayme Jonasson (Jonathan) and Ramsey Balsdon (Brittney); his great grandchildren, Lilee, Pyper, Rylee, Leni, Rowyn, Lincoln, Jensen and Roddy; his brother Gene Christianson; and his siblings-in-law, Doug Ritter (Linda) and Barb Johnson (Francis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
