He was predeceased by: his parents, Isadore Benoit and Regina Benoit (Brusseau); his siblings, Florian, James, Ronald, Doris Hart, Laurette Monson and Fern Dumas; his brothers-in-law, Patrick Hart, Roger Monson, Armand Dumas and Robert Jackson; and his nephew Timothy Monson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Janet Litzinger (Robert) of Grand Forks, ND and Janice Steffen (Paul) of Devils Lake, ND; his sister-in-law Susan Benoit-Cerknowiak (Dennis) of West Fargo, ND; and his cousin Maurice Brusseau. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
