He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Heck and Florence Heck (Harriot); his wife Lois Loewen; his granddaughters, Carri and Tawny; and his close friend Amy Peterson.
He is survived by: his family Duane; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Heck (Hoenke), Joshua Heck, Justin Heck, Jesse Heck, Lance Heck, Heather Heck (Jenkins), RajMinder Heck, Katie Heck and Tracir Heck. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; six brothers; three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
