It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doretta Swenson of Langdon, North Dakota, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Schneider and Helena Schneider (Fischer); her husband Orin Swenson; her son Terry; her siblings, Donald, Betty and Mary; and her parents-in-law, Fannie and George Swenson.
She is survived by: her children, Jim (Deanna) of Langdon, ND, Bob (Arlene) of Perth, ND, Jerry (Phyllis) of Bennett, CO, Kevin (Carolyn) of Cavalier, ND and Patty Clark (Floyd) of Walhalla, ND; her friend Lanny Peterson (JoAnne) of Park River, ND; her grandchildren, Lisa Lloyd (Scott), Chad Swenson (Jeri), Kris Quam (Chris), Bryce Swenson, Jeremy Swenson (Tiffany), Jessica Swenson (Evan), Ashley Danielson (Andrew) and Jamie Blodgett (Jeremy); and her sisters, Marjorie Schneider, Helen Oestreich and Shirley Bengtson.
