We bid farewell to Cyrilla Kartes of Langdon, North Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 19, 2024 at the age of 97. Cyrilla touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Koehmstedt and Katherine Koehmstedt (Boesl); her husband Lawrence Kartes; her siblings, Frances Walz, Joyce, Joe and Carl; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Walz and Kristine Koehmstedt.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel (Fargo) and Joseph (Twin Cities); her grandchildren, Charles, Nathaniel and Cameron (Paiton); her great grandchild Callahan (Cameron); her sister Kay Duffy (Jim); and her sisters-in-law, Judi Koehmstedt and Alice Kartes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (209 10th Ave, Langdon, ND 58249). A Mass will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
