He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce McFadden; and his siblings, Arvelda Wiens (Elmer), Clayton Klein (Donalda) and Dorothy Ewert (Arthur). He is survived by: his son Steve of Alsen; his grandson Tyler; his children, Sue Allmer (Jim) of Bismarck, ND, Sam (Ruth) of Lakeville, MN, Sherman (Jenny) of Farmington, MN and Becky Pierskalla (Jeff) of Blaine, MN; and his grandchildren, Erica (James), Spencer, Benjamin, Braden, Mitchell and Sydney.
