She was predeceased by: her parents, Crispin Celeste and Barbara Celeste; her brother Fortunato Celeste; her son John R. Hamann; her parents-in-law, Joseph W. Hamann and Inez B. Hamann; and her siblings-in-law, Harold Lothspeich, Paul I. Hamann and Carole Hamann.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Richard Hamann (Dick) of Langdon, ND; her daughter Leah Hamann (Myra) of Mandan, ND; her sister Nancy Celeste of Manila, Philippines; her sister-in-law Rosemary Lothspeich of Fargo, ND; her brother Melford (Bud); her sister-in-law Joanie Brekke of Edmore, ND; her brother Leonard; her sister-in-law Inez Rath of South Fargo, ND; and also Peace Corps. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p. m. on Friday, October 16, 2020, at St. Alphonsus Church in Langdon, ND, with visitation starting at 12:00 p. m. Social distancing and use of masks are encouraged.
