He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kurle and Lydia Kurle (Schutz); his stepfather Clarence Roloff; and his sisters, Lucille Ketterling, Bernice Schock and Norma Knoepfle.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Fischer of Herried, SD; his daughters, Susan Nogosek (Brad) and Holly Peterson; and his sisters, LuElla Pleinis of Eureka, SD and Betty Mueller. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
