He was predeceased by: his former wife Josephine. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughters, Catherine Heyd (David) of LaMoure and Adele Heath (Bill) of Fairbanks, Alaska; his stepsons, Lee (Julienne) of Apex and Rex Johnson (Christine) of Minot, Maine; his sister Sharon Leadbetter of Yarmouth, Maine; and his brother-in-law Anthony Perrone (Kay) of Pawcatuck, Connecticut. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren who he affectionately called the wrecking crew and 4 step-grandchildren.
