He is survived by: his wife Darlene Olson; his son Sherman Rasmusson (Judy); his grandchildren, Zachary Rasmusson (Nikki), Mariah Madsen (Jason) and Christopher Rasmusson (Jay); his great grandchildren, Taylor Clark (Anthony), Risa, Tessa Rasmusson, Keaton and Jett Madsen; his great great grandchildren, Harper and Taytum Clark; his siblings, Maxine Shockman, Beverly Mart, Ronald Rasmusson (Shirley) and Clarice "Joyce" Coit; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Rasmusson and Connie Rasmusson.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Zoar Lutheran Church (421 3rd St SE, Lamoure, ND 58458).
