He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Meidinger (Randy) of Marion, ND, Vonne Smedshammer (Charlotte Viou) of Moorhead, MN and Valie Ringsaker (Kent Van Enk) of Marion, ND; his grandchildren, Katie Meidinger, Chris Rodin (Rachel), Shawn Ringsaker (Brittany), Randa Carlson (Riley), Cory Rodin (Alison), Scott Ringsaker (Kre), Kayla Cuypers (Matthew) and Shelby Ringsaker (Newman) of LaMoure, ND; his great grandchildren, Ross, Rowan, Rorey Carlson, Alaina, Parker Rodin, Madalyn, Mason Cuypers and Aubree Sabinash-Protextor; his sisters, Elaine Hilscher (Jim) and Maxine Smedshammer; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Pollert, Clayton Pollert (Ginny) and Ken Pollert (Pat). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
