He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alberts and Alvina Alberts; and his siblings, Christopher "Buddy" Alberts, Allen Alberts, Roger "Hudge" Alberts, Joseph Alberts, Virginia Lancelot and Linda Alberts.

He is survived by: his son Dale Alberts; his sisters, Winona Fox and Sally Cavanaugh; and his aunt Marie Abraham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
