It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynos Swanson (Lakota, North Dakota), born in Lawton, North Dakota, who passed away on July 29, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Swanson and Inez Hjelmstad; his stepfather Thor Hjelmstad; his siblings, Clint Swanson and Elaine Lichtenbarger; his siblings-in-law, Clayton Lichtenbarger, Norman Alfredson, Mary Alfredson and Gordon Johnson; and his niece Kristi Christianson.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Kari Perreault (Brian) of Rushford, MN, Susan Blagsvedt (Terry) of Rushford, MN, Keith Swanson (Sue) of Grand Forks, ND and Steven Swanson (Brenna) of Lawton, ND; his grandchildren, Luke Perreault, Jenna Bixler (Jack), Taylor Thompson, Nicole Blagsvedt, Brenden Swanson, Nicholas Swanson and Mya Swanson; his brother Andy Swanson (Gail); and his sister-in-law Delores Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
