It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irving Marquart of Lakota, North Dakota, born in Hancock, Minnesota, who passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Larson; his children, Tim Marquart of San Antonio, TX, Tracey, Matthew, Danielle, Marnie and Kaitlin; his stepchildren, Pete, Matt, Kellie, Ben, Jake, Joseph, Karrie and Thomas; his children, Glennda, Elizabeth, Xenna, Barbara Sherrodd (Curtis) of Hugo, OK, Zachary, Kalen, Jeremy, Colleen Cook (Neal) of Beardsley, MN, Samantha, Nicole, Ryan, Evan, Brandon, Cody and Devin; his stepchildren, Garrett, Scotty, Lindsey, Wyatt and Sherry Eidsness (Cary) of Grand Junction, CO; his children, Alyssa and Camron; and his sister Norma Lang-Turner of Pine River, MN..
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be given to the Lakota Library, with an emphasis toward large print adult books or Lakota Lutheran Church.
