He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Matejcek and Geneva Matejcek (Trenda); his parents-in-law, Leland and Jean Steinmann; and his sister Karen Wallace.
He is survived by: his wife Erma J. Steinmann of Lakota; his children, Kevin Matejcek (Kristi) of Brocket, Kent Matejcek (Stephanie) of Brocket and Kimberly Gathman (Tim) of Kronenwetter, WI; his grandchildren, Karlie Larson (Bradie), Kamron, Karson Matejcek, Morgan Anderson (Anthony), Cole Matejcek, Ashlyn Russell (Ryan) and Garrett Gathman (Katie Zenk); his siblings, Mayvis Jallo (Sanford) of Mesa, AZ, Doris McMorran (Robbin) of Lawton, ND and Larry Matejcek (Susan) of Gilbert, AZ; and his siblings-in-law, Duncan Wallace of Mesa, AZ, Merle and Nancy Steinmann of Lakota, ND. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The use of facemasks, hand sanitizer, and social distancing will be required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
