It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Mayer (Lakota, North Dakota), who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Mayer and Alice Mayer; his son Cory; and his siblings, Blanche, Roseann, Marcella, Alice, Otto, Gus and Stanley.
He is survived by: his children, Kurt Mayer (Marie), Stacy Stark (Butch) and Cheryl Mayer; his close friend Ethel Beaver of Larimore, ND; his siblings, Jim Mayer, Stella Shirek of Lakota, ND and Judy Larson (Gust) of Wasilla, AK; his grandchildren, Amber Angove (Adam) of Hibbing, MN, Dominique Mayer of Hibbing, MN, Sascha Mayer of Hibbing, MN, Mason of Hibbing, MN, McGwire Bukovich of Hibbing, MN, Joslyn Mayer of Buhl and Cyle Karakash of Hibbing; and his great grandchildren, Jordan, Cole, Chloe, Ashton, Tyler and Bryce. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
