She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Nelson and Belle Nelson (Demoray); her former husband John Ahonen; her husband Elton Ferguson; her son David Norman; her sister Arlene; her stepdaughter Linda Johnson; and her children-in-law, Kathy Ahonen, Glenn Knetter, Darell Sundeen and Keith Swingdoff.
She is survived by: her children, Edwin (Sandy), Jan, Donna and John; her stepchildren, Frank (Bernice), Warren (Linda), Bob (Shirley), Marian, Mintie, Rita (Bill) and Alice (Roland); and her sister Ruby Leith (Donovan). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and stepgrandchildren.
