It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Blessum (Lakota, North Dakota), born in Clearbrook, Minnesota, who passed away on November 13, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Blessum and Ruth Blessum (Dunham); his wife Shirley Horswill; his stepfather Wilbur Gamble; his brother Ralph Blessum; his stepsiblings, Wilbur Gamble and Helen Weber; and his brother-in-law Frank Douglas.
He is survived by: his children, Harold Blessum, Mike Blessum (Margo) of Petersburg, ND, Julie Blessum (Leland Fosness) of Tolna, ND and Jan Kruk of Bottineau, ND; his sister Lorraine Douglas of Circle Pines, MN; and his stepbrother Dwayne Gamble of Agate, ND. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
