With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Gackle (Kulm, North Dakota), who passed away on October 5, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Goehner and Hulda Goehner (Rempfer); her brother Marvin Goehner; her granddaughter Shawna Gackle; and her great grandchild Mercedes Zenker.

She is survived by: her husband William Gackle; her sons, Frederick and Jonathan; her brother Curt Goehner (Darlene); her sister-in-law Florence Goehner; her children, Fred Gackle (Linda), Dave Gackle (Carol), Mary Zenker (Gackle), Jon Gackle (Tonya) and Joel Zenker; and her friend LeAnn Pollert. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, First Congregational Church in Kulm, Jamestown Regional Medical Center, and Ave Maria Village.
