It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera Dahlen of Killdeer, North Dakota, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Glen Jackson and Bessie Jackson (Stevens); her grandparents, Val and Nora Stevens; her son Martin Dahlen (Julie) of Halliday; her granddaughter Megan Smith (Bryce) of Dickinson; her great grandchild Ezerie Smith of Dickinson; her sister Hazel Geffere of Tuscon, AZ; her husband Maynard Dahlen; her brother Glen Jackson Jr.; and her brother-in-law Pius Geffere. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

She remained at the farm until October 2021, when complications due to Covid had her move to Hill Top Home of Comfort in Killdeer.
