She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert G Monroe Jr. and Clara Monroe (Hovden); her sons, Robert James Hurt and Louie Owen Hurt III; her in-laws, Louis and Gladys Hurt (Owen); her siblings-in-law, Angeline Karel (Francis), Marvin Schmidt, Dale Hurt and David Warner; and her nephews, David Warner Jr. and Dan Karel.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Hurt Jr. of Bowdon; her daughter Patty Tebelius (Jon) of Bowdon; her sister Dorothy Schmidt; and her siblings-in-law, Joy Hurt, Gloria Warner, Floyd Hurt (Muriel), Alantson Hurt (Barbara) and Joe Hurt (Brenda). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be sent to Bowdon Ambulance, or Oakdale Cemetery.
