He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pister and Rosa Pister (Shock); his wife Agnes Haux; his daughter Lori Ann Pister; his children-in-law, Aimee Pister and Roger Lakoduk; and his siblings, Anne, Otto, Lydia, Elizabeth, Ted, Ida, George, Faith and Ella.
He is survived by: his significant other Marlene Dahlin; and his children, John Pister of Kief, Corliss Haugen (Dave) of Kief, Roxanne Selzler (Ted) of Velva, Pam Podoll (Noel) of Velva and Deb Olson (Keith) of Harvey. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
