She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Peterson (Hanson) and Leonard Peterson; her adoptive parents, Lavina Sauer (Petersen) and Carl Sauer; and her siblings, Lois Christianson (Peterson), Glenn Peterson, Loel Peterson, Jim Peterson and Donovan Peterson.
She is survived by: her husband Kenny Christensen of Kenmare, ND; her sons, Robby Christensen (Theresa) of Waverly, MN and Gene Christensen (Pam) of Duluth, MN; her grandchildren, Miranda, Donevan, Trevor (Kayla) and Austin (Amelia); and her great grandchild Evelyn.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Elmdale Lutheran Church of Niobe.
