She was predeceased by: her parents, Trygve Svestad and Elfie Svestad (Gunderson); her husband Melvin Bjerke; and her sisters, Ruth Larson (Leroy) and Carol Chose (Clarence).
She is survived by: her son Marty Bjerke (Nicholle); her grandchildren, Leah, Laura and Mitchell Bjerke (Connie); her great grandchildren, Cassidy, Danielle and Megyn; her daughter Stacie Coleman (Zac); her sister Barbara Gunderson (Richard); and also Melvin.
